High quality nose art made in Germany

Hello I´m Josh, born and raised in Germany.

WWII nose art is the passion and love of my life.

I started to paint leather jackets when I was 16 years old.

My father was a Hungarian migrant who professionally build model airplanes as member of
technical association groups of the GDR.
And my grandfather matrilineally build real airplanes for Arado in WWII.

My father passed away when I was very young so my grandfather took over his place, both inspired me a lot.

Especially the WWII stories of my grandfather kept me tied up to the issue of warplanes and it´s painting schemes.

This always became relevant when we build model airplanes together or watched the movie “Memphis Belle” (1990).

Where actor Sean Astin was wearing a very cool sheepskin leather jacket with a red pin up lady painted on his back.

Anno 2003 I started to collect original U.S. military WWII era items and to finance my hobby

I began to paint T-shirts and other clothing and some of my first leather and flight jackets for family members and friends.

After the growing demand and a long term of unemployment I established my business under
the name Josh´s Flight Jackets in 2014.
